Gear disassembly is unlocked through the completion of the defeat an archangel quest. Upon doing this you will be requested to dismantle 10 daggers.
Upon dismantling a piece of gear your will receive Sacred Soul Stone, depending on what tier the weapon, shield or cosmetic item is from will determine how many Sacred Soul Stones you get from dismantling it. Higher tiers reward a higher amount.
