 Fundamentals 

What are levels for?

• Leveling up will provide additional runeword slots at levels 5, 10, 25, and 60, which will boost the ability of you and your equipment. Purchasing VIP will grant you the last rune slot. It also unlocks better gear. Tier-3 yellow gear unlocks at level 15, tier-4 orange at level 40, and tier-5 red at 50. Tier-3 Amulets unlock at level 70, tier-4 at level 80, and tier-5 at level 90.

How do I use the Portals?

• Once a portal gateway is repaired and portal scrolls are crafted, you can teleport around the map. Access your backpack, tap the portal scroll icon, and choose the completed archway you want to teleport to; a blue portal will open in front of your avatar. Go through that portal and arrive at the archway you selected; come through any archway to return back to the point you left, collapsing the existing portal. Portals can be used an infinite number of times from the scroll use location to the selected gate. However, using a gateway to travel back to the scroll use location will close the portal. Entering Ruins of Elven Temple (Mitar) or exiting the game will also cause portals to close. Portal scrolls can be used inside Mitar to get to a gateway outside, but the portal will automatically close after a single use.

The 12 archways can be found at these locations: Bridge, Dungeon Fortress II (Goblin Leader), Dungeon Fortress III (Troll), Dungeon Fortress IV (Earth Elemental), East Nature Valley, Centre Nature Valley, West Nature Valley, Gold Mine, Emerald Mine, Insatiable Stone, Town Portal and Ruins of Elven Temple.

To craft, you will need to auto/manual mine for the enhance stone material.

Material cost per Portal Scroll: 5 red, 5 green, 3 yellow, and 2 blue.

What happens when I die?

• You can revive to half your current max HP once per battle, using either gems or by watching an ad (no ad if VIP). If you die a second time or choose not to revive, you will respawn back at your house, with 0-1 HP. There is no penalty to your gear or materials.

Will crafting more pickaxes increase my power?

• In short, no. Although you can craft more for the crafting achievement, otherwise there will be no bonus to you.

How do I boost my mining-production animals? 

• You can:

1) train and upgrade them individually at the trainer house,

2) watch the ad booster if not a VIP player, and/or

3) craft enhance stones, which are used at the Totem Pole.

What is the purpose of cats/dogs, and is one better than the other?

• The only use for cats/dogs is added inventory space – remote selling is currently disabled. Pet inventory spaces are denoted via the little paw print in the top, left corner of the last spots in your bag. It will also follow you around as you roam the map.

 One pet is not better than the other, however there is a difference in cost and ease to level them up (gray bordered cats are cheapest)– the trainer house will show you a price difference in gems. You can also find the pet chest in the trainer house. Feel free to choose your favorite one and sell the rest for crystal shards at the Goblin Silo.

What are the shards for?

• Shards are a type of currency typically taken to the airport to open chests to fill your schematics. You can collect them from the caravan, quests, gift boxes, and/or goblin silo (scrapping extra materials). Later in the game, they are needed to craft Uber scrolls and gear enchantment.

When can I disassemble gear? What does it give me?

• Gear can be disassembled during the Lord of Dissection questline. It turns your gear into Soul Stone Shards, which are used to craft the The Great Council Portal scrolls, and enchant you gear.

Townsfolk and Community

What’s the mailbox for?

• The mailbox is used to receive special messages from the developers, in-game purchases (such as VIP), and any coins or items from the Open Market, including canceled Marketplace sales.

What is the totem, and how to use it?

• Heart of the Mountain is an early questline which opens the totem after speaking to the Old Man. Here you can take enhance stones to boost your mining pets. Each pet can be boosted except for Piggy and Buffalo, for now.

• Each enhance stone needs to be crafted with a specific number of the material for the enhance stone, which are received from auto/manual mining (your mining pets cannot get these). By itself the enhance stone has a 25% chance of success, so it’s recommended to combine it with a potion (pink potion - 10%) (green potion - 15%)  and watch an ad (or skip it with vip) for an added 25% chance. If all used, 60-65% success rate. Each successful stone boosts your mining pets clicks by 5%.

How do I get the Goblin Key?

• After opening the Tanzanite level in your mine, return to the surface and the goblin will initiate the quest for you. There are a series of four quests in total that will give you the schematics to forge the Goblin Key. After completing each quest, return to the surface. 

First quest:        Craft a basic pickaxe

Second quest:     Give Goblin 1.5k Stone ore from mine 

Third quest:        Upgrade bunnies to level 7

Fourth quest:       Give Goblin 1k Coal ore from mine

 Material cost: 500 Gold ore, 100 Platinum ore, 10 Tanzanite ore, 5 green material for the enhance stones, only craft once.

How do I get the city seal?

• The City Seal is a series of quests initiated by the Goblin NPC after defeating the Goblin Leader. Once started, you will visit the city gate guard (Rollo), who will then ask for a favor in return for the city seal. You won't be able to finish the quest until you can at least defeat the Troll.

Schemes and Materials

How do I get rune schemes?

• Blank rune, and runes I, II, III are gotten via the main questline. Runes IV - IX (4-9) are all acquired at the airport by chance in the schemes tab. Once started, they can be completed at the Airport with the 10 daily chests.

How do I get mining pet enhance stone schemes?

• These schemes can all be acquired at the airport. You can purchase any of them from the Airport store (Navi's goods) for gems or wait for a chance to get them in the schemes tab. As of now, there are no schemes for Piggy or Bufalo. Once started, they can be completed at the Airport with the 10 daily chests.

How can I get the essence schemes?

• Essence Schemes (Jade, Ruby, Emerald, and Tanzanite) are acquired at the airport by chance in the schemes tab. Once started, they can then be completed at the Airport w/ the 10 daily chests.

Battle Tactics

What is the best gear?

• This is a difficult question to answer as it will depend greatly on the stats of the gear and what you want to achieve. Try building different sets, experimenting a little, and ultimately just have fun with it!

How do I increase my health?

• To increase your overall maximum HP, you need to get better gear. Tier-3 (yellow border) or higher weapons and shields can provide additional health. Tier-2 or better amulets can also provide additional health, but these are unlocked at higher levels.

How to reroll the Dungeon Bosses?

• You can surrender the fight (respawning back to your home with 0-1HP) and return to the monster you were fighting for a new loot drop. To make it faster, you can open a portal at your house and select the closest archway to the monster you want to reroll. Additionally, you can close the app, keeping most of your HP. This will use more portal scrolls or time spent constantly walking back.

What do I need to defeat the Troll and where is he?

• The troll is on the 8th floor of the first dungeon. You will need the Lost King Sword, it is dropped by Ogr. As for the shield, either a very good Covered Shield or any Iron Shield. Being at full health is recommended and you might possibly need to revive. Having the leeche’s touch Runeword can also help.

What do I need to defeat the Earth Elemental and where is he?

• The Earth Elemental is on the 12th floor of the first dungeon. The Elven Legend Sword and Elven Protector shield, with Leeches Touch and Pure Luck Runewords are recommended to beat him.

What do I need to defeat the Dungeon Master and where is he?

• The Dungeon Master is on the 13th floor of the first dungeon. Elven Legend Sword and Elven Protector shield, with Leeches Touch and Pure Luck Runewords will kill him most of the time with a revive. Adding Patience is gold will increase these odds.

What do I need to defeat the Skeletons/Necromancer?

• It’s recommended you finish the first dungeon before entering the Necromancer’s altar. The Sword of Marriage and Elven Queen Shield (both are dropped by dungeon master), and with no gear Runewords, will get you through the Skeleton Dungeon. Bringing healing potions will help and you may kill the Necromancer with some luck. However, adding at least the Sword of Marriage Runeword will allow you to kill the Necromancer with higher success.

What do I need to defeat the Archangels? (Uber Bosses)

• Having the Sword of Marriage with it’s Runeword, combined with the Elven Queen Shield (doesn’t require it’s Runeword) is enough to beat all 3 Archangels. Rule of thumb is, if you can easily defeat the Necromancer, you can defeat the Uber Bosses.

What do I need to defeat the Lord of Dissection?

• At minimum you should have a set of tier 4 (orange) gear that have the gear specific Runewords.

Runewords

What Runewords should I get first, and where are they located?

• The first 3 Runewords recommended to get are:

Leeches Touch (5% lifesteal) | Ruby Mine | Two rune I, one rune II. 

Pure Luck (5% chance for 2s enemy stun) | Bandit Level, dungeon | Three rune I.

Berserker Wrath (10% chance for 200% critical hit) | Dungeon Master | One rune I, one rune II.

How do I activate a Runeword?

• Depending on which word you want, you will need to gather up the correct runestones and take them to the rune post. Open the rune post, select which build number to place it on, press the activate tab on the word you want, and success! Open your Runewords tab on your player profile and you’ll see it added to the build you selected.
