After the old man talks to you, a new NPC will show up, Smith Eddie. He will request that you fix up his forge for him.

Don't be scared haha...Jack told me what you did for him!
If you want to go to mine, you will need a tools.
Unfortunately my forge is in a ruin.
Help me _____! For your help I can offer you the Common Pick scheme...
