After Navi is done talking to you, you will be approached by the smith for the next quest, which will require you to kill 3 skeletons on the first floor of the crypt.
Dialogue:
Hey ____! Navi has told everything about the finding you two did. Would you mind if I ask you about defeating some of these skeletons right there? I would lobe to know something more about their gear.
I will be grateful to you for this.
